Seven blunders of the world

I was hopping through the web reading on the candidates for the new seven wonders of the world to be decided on 07.07.07. That is when, I jumped onto a wikipedia link titled Seven Blunders of the World.

Proudly, the seven blunders have been authored by none other than Mahatma Gandhi. Reading through them reminded me of the immaculate character, the never ending pursuit of truth and the constant critical examination of one's self that Gandhiji's autobiography presents. Veritably, the most profound truths are the most simple too.

Seven blunders of the World
  • Wealth without work
  • Pleasure without conscience
  • Knowledge without character
  • Commerce without morality
  • Science without humanity
  • Worship without sacrifice
  • Politics without principle
