I am thrilled!

Lately, I have been coming to the Redmond Regional Library on a regular basis (only last 4 days!!). Living with my notion of a library, I come usually equipped with a pen and a paper and the world of books at my disposal. After an entire day's work with my computer, I am the least motivated to reserve a time and use the public computers at the library. But today, as I was enjoying the pen-paper courtship, I saw someone surfing the web on a laptop. And lo! This library has Wireless access!!! I am absolutely thrilled at the availability and accessibility of information and infrastructure from a public institution we take so much for granted - your local library. Hats off!

And well, thanks to this finding, I have a reason to blog. The only thing I fret is that I hope I dont get hooked to this and betray my pen and paper world!

If and when we go back, we gotto do something about this ubiquitous net access thing that we take for granted here. Man, I am sure there is a whole market just waiting to be exploited. People drool at the though of hi-speed, ubiquitous computing. We outta figure out how to do it, for cheap. Dhirubhai ambani model aka the Gillette model. Give the razor (or mobile phones) for free, people will come back for blades (or subscription). Hoohoo!
